Governance & Strategy

Corporate Governance

As the business representative organisation for the creative and communications industry in Ireland, our Articles of Association set out how we are governed, structures and processes as well as procedures for election to the Board.

We are a Company by Limited Guarantee, and our Board of Directors are senior industry leaders elected from across all segments of our membership. We are committed to high standards of corporate governance and invest in training and development for our Board to be effective and deliver for the long-term success of the organisation.

To ensure strong governance and decision making our structure includes three board sub-committees:

  • Finance, Audit and Membership Committee
  • Governance and Nominations Committee
  • Remuneration Committee

Each committee is underpinned by Terms of Reference approved by the Board. In 2026, Brendan Foster, a Chartered Accountant, and former Chairman of Grant Thornton and Dublin Chamber of Commerce, was appointed as independent director to the Finance, Audit and Membership Committee.
